EFFICIENT DATA MANAGEMENT

Transferring data to fTRACE

fTRACE is based on the GS1 standard EPCIS. This enables every member of the supply chain to enter their own supply chain data. In other words, fTRACE is based on a decentralised approach, with individual supply chain events being linked together later. Depending on the level of IT maturity in the company and the number of batches concerned, there are different ways of transferring data to fTRACE:

  • Smaller companies enter data manually using the web browser of the DataEntry module.
  • Medium-sized and large companies have the option of transmitting their own traceability data to fTRACE using a standardised interface integrated in their own ERP systems.

Downloading data from fTRACE

There are also different ways of downloading the data entered by suppliers:

  • Smaller companies with less advanced IT systems can download the traceability data manually.
  • Medium-sized and large companies are able to use an automatic connection via an M2M interface.

Premium download of enriched data

Would you like to use the supply chain data for internal purposes – e.g. use data for labelling, integrate data into your own ERP system or share data with consumers? If so, we recommend using the fTRACE Data Premium module. This has the following advantages:

Complete data

You will receive traceability data enriched with additional information, in line with your customers’ needs and expectations.

Data quality

You will receive traceability data enriched with additional information, in line with your customers’ needs and expectations.

Everything from a single source

  • You will save time and costs – receiving all the data you need from a single interface.
